Join Me at Fernbank on Astronomy Day!

Hey Atlanta friends! On April 29th, Fernbank Science Center is hosting its Astronomy Day 2017 program--and yours truly will be there reading from my book, Lana & the Water Carrier! So be sure to tell your parents! And let them know it's a free event!

Astronomy Day is an opportunity for kids and adults alike to learn about the world (er, universe?) of astronomy. You can watch awesome planetarium shows, see cool astronomy art, play games, and do all kinds of fun stuff!

Plus you'll get to meet-n-greet Logical Lana McNair herself--along with other characters from the book! (What? Of course I know Lana's readers understand she isn't real! These are kid character actors and they are a hoot!)

The event lasts from 11am to 4pm. And I'll be there from 1pm to 4pm doing readings hourly--and autographing books. So feel free to bring your copy along....

Don't have a copy of the book yet? No worries! You can order it from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, or any of the other major book sellers. I'll also have copies available for sale at this event.

Stay tuned for more info and pics!

P.S. Don't you just love that retro poster?! It was designed in-house at Fernbank by a talented guy named Rick Spears. Reminds me of an Asimov's magazine cover, not to mention all the vintage science fiction magazines from yesteryear!
